A.C. Ross |
 |
A.C. Ross has worked at the highest levels of management on all aspects of corporate strategy, technology marketing, and business development in Silicon Valley since 1981.
His focus at Indigo Partners is on helping technology companies target and acquire their most
profitable customers. He has helped Borland, Novell, Palm, Sun Microsystems, and several
startups identify the markets that would respond most favorably and profitably to their
products, especially ones based upon new technologies. He also helps develop the marketing,
development, financial, and partnership plans to implement the product vision.
He has developed and executed strategies for bringing software and web businesses -- from raw
startups to "intrapreneurial" new business units in Software 500 firms -- to market. His ability to
develop business models and plans based upon customer and competitor analysis has helped
companies raise funding from top-tier venture capital firms such as Kleiner Perkins, Accel
Partners, and New Enterprise Associates.
Recent full-time startup experience includes positions as vice president of marketing and
business development at HotDispatch, which provided developer support outsourcing for
technology innovators such as Sun, Palm, and Cisco, and at Be, Inc. He was a business unit
manager and director of marketing at Sun Microsystems, a venture capital associate at U.S.
Venture Partners, and a management consultant at Bain & Company.
A.C. earned an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management and an MS in Chemical Engineering

Anne Murguia |

Anne has 15 years of experience designing and executing strategic marketing plans. She has managed the introduction of new brands and solutions as well as developed strategies for expanding markets for existing products. She has directed product and brand marketing, customer acquisition and retention, and primary customer research. As a consultant, she leads collaborative groups of executives and cross-functional teams and uses quantitative analysis of business and market metrics to guide decision-making.
Before founding Indigo Partners in 1996, Anne led the positioning and launching of new personal productivity products as Director of Marketing at Reference Software. She also led products through the entire life cycle in product marketing positions at Ashton-Tate and Hewlett-Packard. Anne received an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA from Stanford University.

Jennifer Overholt |

In over ten years of strategy consulting for Internet and software
companies, Jennifer Overholt provided market characterization and
definition, product strategy and definition, positioning, and corporate
and marketing strategy. She transformed strategic
recommendations into permanent processes and concrete deliverables.
Jennifer's technical background and experience allow her to quickly assess
technologies, products, and markets.
Jennifer has consulted with Netscape, Macromedia, and Palm as well as a
host of small Internet and software companies. Prior to starting her
own consulting business in 1994, she was a multimedia product marketing
manager and multimedia evangelist for Sun Microsystems and an engineer
with GTE. Jennifer also served on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of
San Francisco and the Peninsula for seven years, including three years as
Board President.
Jennifer earned an MBA from the Wharton School and a BSEE from Tufts

Liz Bradley |

Liz Bradley has spent over 20 years in consumer and brand marketing.
She has extensive operating, branding, and positioning experience for small
to mid-sized organizations. She has developed venture capital
presentations, written business and marketing plans, hired and managed
marketing, design and sales professionals, and developed and implemented
brand strategies.
Liz's marketing acumen was developed over the years as a brand marketing
executive for consumer product companies and advertising agencies, such as
Chiat/Day Advertising (Apple Computer and Nike accounts), General Mills,
Giro Sport Design, and Rock Shox. Since mid-1998, Liz provided
marketing consulting services to both Internet and traditional consumer
product companies (Netscape, Backflip, NapaStyle, US Sports, Ariat).
For many clients, she has acted as the vice president of marketing during
the start-up or transition phase.

Michelle Lee |

An Indigo Partners' client turned partner, Michelle Lee brings more than 12
years of international product management experience in hardware, software,
and Internet start-up environments. With roles ranging from worldwide
product manager at Hewlett-Packard in Grenoble, France, to vice president of
marketing for an Internet start-up, Michelle brought to market dozens of
products and most notably, was responsible for defining and launching the
Connectix QuickCam web cam product family (acquired by Logitech).
During the past two years as an independent consultant, she managed product
definition, development, and related launch activities for clients.
She earned an MBA emphasizing international marketing from the Monterey
Institute of International Studies and a BA from the University of

Karen Matthys |

Karen Matthys has over 17 years of marketing and high-technology business
experience. Before becoming a consultant, Karen was the director
of marketing strategy at Cellular One where she was responsible for targeted
market plans, the sales channel strategy, and company-wide strategic
planning. Previously, Karen worked in various product marketing
management positions at Apple Computer and was responsible for several
Macintosh and peripheral product launches worldwide. Karen has
extensive international experience and was based in Tokyo for two years
with Apple Japan. Prior to Apple Computer, Karen worked at GTE and
Sprint.
Karen specializes in consulting with software, hardware, telecom, and
Internet companies. She led projects in a variety of disciplines
including: brand strategy, product marketing, customer acquisition and
retention, and business development.
Karen holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Systems

Michele Nemschoff |

With more than ten years of marketing consulting for a variety of high tech companies, Michele Nemschoff has developed an expertise in product positioning, market segmentation, competitive analysis, and partner and channel marketing for both startups and established companies. While consulting with Internet, software, hardware and service companies, her focus has been developing and managing the implementation of company and product launch plans. Clients have included BabyCenter, Hewlett-Packard, Intraware, Inxight Software, Kensington Technologies, Linuxcare, and Plantronics.
Prior to consulting, Michele held marketing positions at Apple Computer, NeXT Computer, Rand McNally, and Strategic Mapping. Using her marketing experience, she also spent a year with a UN- and EC-sponsored consulting group in Poland providing marketing advice and expertise to newly emerging private companies.
Michele received an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School.
