Previously, Patty worked for SYPartners in San Francisco for ten years—collaborating with executive teams from IBM, Deloitte, Nike, Hewlett-Packard, Charles Schwab, Johnson & Johnson, Gap, Yahoo!, Alcoa, PBS, Marsh, and The Center for American Progress. She has been published in Harvard Business School’s Strategy and Innovation. Before SYPartners she ran her own consulting business, developing marketing and communications strategy for clients including Apple, Sun Microsystems, Netscape, and Worldview Technology Partners. Prior to that, she worked in marketing and sales at NeXT—designing programs and resources to accelerate sales. She spent nine months in Europe helping launch NeXT across multiple countries. She also worked in marketing at Apple—researching customer experiences across all markets and developing meaningful customer stories that were showcased across Apple’s global marketing campaigns. Patty started her career in journalism, working at ABC News in Washington, on documentaries for PBS in San Francisco, and as a wire service reporter. She holds a BA in International Relations from Stanford University and a MS in Journalism from Columbia University. |
